Recommended Supplies
1. Card Stock or old cereal (etc.) boxes cut to 6 X 6”
2. Thin paper for collage color swatches: (Newsprint is an inexpensive option)
3. A 1” flat brush and a #2 round
4. Palette Knife
5. Permanent Glue Stick
6. 2 small plastic containers with lids (2 – 4 oz.) (f you don’t have any, I have some available $1 for 2)
7. Scotch brand removable tape
8. Scissors, utility knife, pencil, ruler
9. Sketchbook/Notebook
10. Palette (If using gouache, you need a plastic cup palette. If using acrylic or acrylic gouache paper plates are fine.
11. Gouache or Acrylic Gouache is preferred but you can make do with acrylic. I have listed colors of Turner Acrylic Gouache which is reasonably priced. You will need 40 ml tubes of Sepia and Ultramarine and White. 20 ml tubes should suffice for the other colors. If using a different product choose the closest hue to the Turners listed as possible.
Carmine, Permanent Scarlet, Permanent Yellow, Permanent Yellow Deep, Ultramarine Blue, Cerulean Blue, Burnt Sienna, Yellow Ocher, Grayish Blue, White, Sepia.
